X Scams

  • They offer to give you money via cash app, venmo, but you have to pay a fee in order to receive the cash. (there is no actual fee to send and receive money on venmo,cashapp or paypal)

Phone Scams

  •  Scammers impersonate Medicaid representatives, and claim coverage is being canceled or benefits have been lost. Personal information such as social security number, Medicaid ID, and bank account information is requested immediately to renew enrollment, resulting in identity theft.
  • PC Scareware scam – you get popup acting like its virus reality you can just press ctrl, alt, delete and end the browser process that will fix it. never call the number if anything call your internet provider they can usually help you with that.
