- Kids and adults were more stronger
- Cars, trucks, suvs, vans were built to last a life time
- Live music was actually the artist singing instead of using autotune.
- 2 Genders only Male and Female
- Parents were not afraid to discipline there kids ( A good old spanking)
- School shootings were not a thing
- Our President actually cared about the people
- Kids would always play out side hot, cold. didn’t matter the weather. the time we came in was when the sun went down that was our clock
- On long trips we knew enough not to say “we are bored” we just figured out things to do while in the car. we didn’t have cell phones to use in the car if we forgot to bring something to do do that was on us.
- Schools actually had books which once you got in to middle school to highschool you’d be carrying around books all the time back in those days the backpacks were actually made to with stand that weight
- Tvs that never came with remote we would have to manually turn the channel.
- 56k Dial up connection (It would take three days to download song just to figure out it was the wrong song. probably why we have patients today)
- I feel that people felt they were less entitled
Now
- Cars, trucks,suvs, vans break down don’t last as long
- increase in school shootings
- Kids have there phone in there faces barely get outside
- Long car rides kids tend to get bored if they are not able to get on there device
- highspeed connection if wifi is lost for less then a few minutes teens think the world is about to end
- People seem to feel more entitled then ever
